Shining Stars is a small residential children's home based in Cornwall, offering a warm, family-style home to young people who need stability, encouragement and adults they can rely on. We work closely with local authorities and families to make sure every placement is the right fit, and stays that way. We're Ofsted registered, our team are fully qualified and DBS-checked, and every plan starts with what's right for the individual child living with us.

Every part of how we operate is built around keeping children safe, from recruitment and training to how we handle concerns. Privacy is a priority too, which is why you won't find photos of our home or its exact location here.
Our safeguarding, complaints and privacy policies are reviewed regularly and available in full on request.
Every young person who comes to live with us receives their own Children's Guide, written for them, explaining what to expect, their rights, and who to talk to. Get in touch and we'll send you a copy.
